What People Say

"Highly recommend DMA Architecture for business integrity and ethics. Our NYC project took a quantum leap forward with DMA, resulting not only in superior design, but also doubling our COO (Occupancy) within the same confines. Our opinions and input into this project were highly respected by DMA. We needed something extra that would ignite enthusiasm and enlarge our vision. We couldn't be more excited about our outcome and the level of meticulous detail that went into our job. Everything from initial drafts to electronic filing and virtual meetings with city officials was an incredible experience. Outstanding."

It is my pleasure to provide a letter of recommendation for Daniel Martinez. I was privileged to work with Mr. Martinez during his tenure as the project architect for the renovation of Bldg. 210, Hangar 1 at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Lemoore, California. The scope of this project included mission critical life safety upgrades to the seismic system of the building, hazardous material abatement, the installation of an Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) system and the complete interior design/renovation of a 121,244 square foot hangar which houses a U.S. Navy FA-18 training squadron. Throughout the project, Mr. Martinez led the design team to ensure that the intent of the project was met while also providing the tenant of the hangar with a space that would exceed their functional requirements. During the initial design phase of this $20 million design/build project, Mr. Martinez successfully conducted several design charrettes and design review meetings to guarantee all aspects of the design criteria were met. Once the design was approved and accepted by the customer, Mr. Martinez closely monitored the progress of the project by visiting the site and speaking with the onsite project manager, customer, and other government representatives. In the event that any discrepancy or conflict within the design was mentioned, Mr. Martinez and his team worked to expeditiously resolve these issues and to enhance the design to better meet the requirements of the customer. As the local Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) project engineer assigned to represent the government on this project, I deem Mr. Martinez to be very professional and competent in his work, many times willing to go the extra mile to ensure the needs of the clients were satisfied. The successful completion of this project, evident by the satisfaction of the government and the end user, is a testament to the aptitude and ability of Mr. Martinez and his associated design team.

Dear Daniel,
Enclosed you will find a photograph of the renovated River Hall. River is a popular residence hall, having 129 undergraduates from Columbia College and the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. The River Hall building, originally biuilt in 1908 and acquired by the University in 1962, was in need of major rehabilitation including the complete replacement of the floor and roof framing, the replacement of all building mechanical systems and the repair and cleaning of the building facade.
What makes this accomplishment special was the ability to complete all this work in an active neighborhood (including community residents, a church and two schools immediately surrounding the site) on time and within budget. We would not have been able to accomplish this project without your efforts, insight and energy. On behalf of the University, I thank you for your support for this project.

To whom it may concern,
This is to inform you that Daniel Martinez worked with me on a Hotel project in Napa Valley in 2008. Although he did not receive much direction from us, Daniel embraced the challenge. He created plans, sketches, and development ideas based upon the vision we had shared. Daniel demonstrated integrity and commitment, and executed his work in a timely manner.
I can recommend Daniel for any architectural work. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need further information or have any questions.
Sincerely,
Nicolas Fanucci
